“Transforming Brands and Products from Good to Great!”

Converse Dia De Muertos

Converse Dia De Muertos

The project came together with the concept of celebrating Dia de los Muertos in the most authentic way possible. We called on Mexican illustrator, graphic designer, and street artist Edgar Saner Flores to reimagine his famous Mexico City mural on the product.

Bringing Converse and the celebration of Día de los Muertos together. Teaming
up with an amazing Mexican illustrator, graphic designer, and street artist Edgar Saner
Flores. The collection will come to life on the Chuck 70 and Chuck Taylor All-Stars.

Created an authentic connection between a cultural moment and the brand.  Made sure that the brand was just the canvas to help tell Saner’s story of Dia de los Muertos from his point of view.

Because this was a pure exchange and collaboration this program resulted in tremendous media coverage around the globe.  Not only did the product sell out in Mexico within the first day but the product made its way around the world.  It created a connection between the celebration of Chicano culture and the Mexican spirit across multiple countries and cities. People also revisited his Mexico City Mural that was created with our partnership and supplying painted using sustainable paint.  The program was called “City Forest” as the paint actually absorbs C02 which helps clean the air within the city like a forest would do.
